Harton Masonic Hall

In 2024, Hedworth Lodge No. 2418 purchased the former Methodist Church on Sunderland Road, South Shields with the aim to repurpose the building as a masonic hall for their use, by August 2024 the lodge moved from South Shields Freemasons' Hall and into their new home, Tyne Dock Lodge No.4218 relocated at the same time.
